YES! David Permutter! Almost every story I read has the Perlmutter highlight. This was on the periphery of my brain - that is, I noticed it but I didn't really NOTICE it until you wrote about him. Now feel bereft - I have not (yet) been Perlmuttered. There is always tomorrow :)
