Thanks for explaining how you hear (very acutely) through physical sensation. I'm sure the sensory overload with hearing aids must have been maddening. That scene from your childhood was gripping. Also the movie seems very beautiful and I hope I'll get to see it one day. Now it's on my list. Thanks.
