Thank you 🙏 what a great article 📄 I wrote a piece here where I compared emojis to hieroglyphics and Asian - not just Japanese 🇯🇵 characters (which you describe) - pictographs. They transcend specific languages - everyone understands many of them, especially the poo 💩 They are probably our ancestors’ language- cave paintings. As you can tell I’m somewhat obsessed 🤯 with pictures as a written 🖋️ language.
