Thank you for sharing this publically - I worked in a non profit org and was laid off after MANY years of service so I know how difficult it is for the staff. It's terrible. The tone of your article is on point - unlike the "crying CEO" from Linked in (I'm sure you know the reference) you focus on your staff and what it means to be let go and how you can help. I also appreciate that the decisions that you will make, going foward will focus on improving the experience for your writers/contributors - much needed. Again, thanks for the empathy toward your staff and so sorry. I know from experience.
