God is passe, The deity is on the downswing, and talking about religion is cringeworthy. But it seems everyone needs to believe in something. Prayers are out and slogans are in. Sound bites are scripture. Instead of heading to the nearest house of worship, we worship at the feet of the Republican or Democrat party.
