Boredom, restlessness, directionlessness = ennui.- it's more of a philosophical and phsychological phenomenon than a "disorder." We creative people are particularly subject to it swallowing us. I don't know the answer. I suffer from it too - especially over the last month. IMHO: stay FAR AWAY from gaming but DO write about it - maybe create a series exploring its aspects -that way you combine your love of gaming with your love of writing. Excellent piece of writing.
